So, how did we get our start? Once upon a time in a land down under, a 22-year-old Lego-loving-MacGyver-wannabe named Alex took his first backyard-invention, the Grindenstein, down to the local markets to seek his fortune. As luck would have it, the owner of a nearby kitchenware store happened upon Alex and his creation, and that's the day 'Dreamfarm' was born – in 2003.

The Grindenstein features a patented shock-absorbing design – just tap your portafilter against the knock bar and directly into the 445ml stein to empty out the used grounds. No mess, no fuss.

We like our knock boxes how we like our coffee, strong! The Grindenstein is built from sturdy ABS plastic with a solid steel core and covered in a durable rubber sleeve that absorbs blows. It's quiet to use, near impossible to break, and dishwasher safe.

Our espresso knock box is short and sweet, designed to sit on your espresso machine's drip tray for space-saving storage. Put your waste coffee grounds to use and recycle – we've included a small informational booklet to show you how.
